Purpose of research
We hope to theoretically find design guidelines for "low-torque and long-life bearings" and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
Theory of lubrication
Various theoretical equations for lubrication mechanisms are derived to optimize the design of rolling bearings. Discussions are required across a wide range of disciplines, including physics, chemistry, materials, and engineering.
Visualization of lubrication
We are working to advance visualization techniques to verify the accuracy of various theoretical equations for lubrication mechanisms.
